This was our final stop of the trip, so we stayed at a nicer place and spent
most of our time lounging. It was beautiful and people were friendly, as they
were throughout the trip. The long-tailed macaques, however, were a little
aggressive. Not a shocker, given the number of tourists on the island.
Resort views.
Tide in and tide out were *very* different views.
A little kayak excursion.
The typical longtail boats and the beach from The Beach (Leonardo DiCaprio).
You're not allowed to swim at The Beach, due to its popularity. There were
lots of people behind and just out of view of this photo.
The Muay Thai fight we saw in Bangkok
had the real fighters in it. This bar in Phi Phi let you fight your friends or
any other person you could convince. 100% touristy, but fun in its own way.
One of our favorite meals of the entire trip. This Indian food made us wish we
hadn't botched our Delhi layover on the way to Vietnam (turns out you might
need a visa, even for a few-hour layover, if you change airlines).
